What does race have to do with anything?
I am married to a Native American and could not be prouder of that fact. We have had some racism directed towards us, but not as much as you might think. Once those I knew became educated that not all Indians are drunken louses, they realized what a catch I had and are extremely jealous. Same with those of his race who think stereotypically also, they see what a man can do, and race has nothing whatsoever to do with it. It is just the man or woman. I met this guy and didn't even realize that he was a different race, as I had seen nothing but his eyes for weeks. |

I don't see an issue. I'm attracted to a person's personality. Not their race, height, weight, etc. If you want to date a model, you might find they have an IQ of 0. I look for personality, not race. And, it would slow rascism down. Plus, there is actually no such thing as race. We're all the same on the inside. Let's respect everyone's culture. Tolerance is always best. |

Race is a creation of those in past centuries who wanted to classify us by differences, rather than recognizing that we are more alike than we are different. I am glad that I live in a society where I am free to date whomever I find compatibility. Some narrow-minded individuals of varying races may throw dirty looks our way, but hopefully our world will continue to evolve to the point where we can embrace our differences -- literally and figuratively! |

With all the hatred we see in this world today, I think any kind of love is good. The couple may have problems with people that are close minded and prejudice but what does that matter what they think? If they had intelligence, they wouldn't be so closed minded and prejudice in the first place, right? Love is love and true love knows no race, creed or color, or religon. Go for it! =) |

you mean like a black man dating a white woman and stuff like that? I personally do not believe there are races, only mankind. So yeah, if you consider skin color to be a "racial" thing... But I thinkthere should be no restrictions on who people date. People should just be with the people who knoew them and understand them best. |

where am from you hardly see dating poeple of a different "race"it is not prohibited but then it tend to bring a lot of problems but then i have family members who have married someone of a different race and they are happy. As long as yo know who you are dating and how much you love the person it really doesnt matter when you love the person the colour shoud fade. I have a friend od a different "race" but most of the time i forget that and the same should happen with you |

Dating out of one's race is so common in the US today, especially in the urban areas. I have no problem with it. What makes a person happy... not their parents necessarily. Of course, there will be a lot of racist people still, but if the love is strong enough... they can ignore the narrow-minded, and rise above them. |
