if i had my way i would raise it to age 21. some young people drive like madmen. excessive speeding and not abiding the rules of the road. |

It should stay at 16 but classes showing what happens to car accident victims should be required before the test can be taken. |

I think keep it the same, there are alot of bad drivers of all ages, you just have to drive responsible. |

I would make the testing harder, as there are a lot of people of all ages who are horrible drivers... |

It should depend on the area. Like in Kansas it's 14. But in Massachutes they want to raise it to 18 and I think it makes sense. |

I think that it should stay 16, but make it a little harder to get one because there are a lot of fools on the road |

well people are nuts, raise the age or at least make the tests harder, there is value in keeping it 16 becaues teh kids are more likely to get experience driving witha permit, once you are 18 you dont need a permit to get a licence, plus once you hit 18 you need to get around..a job, school, etc... |

Age doesn't have anything to do with how good a driver you are. But recieving a drivers license should be a lot harder and require a lot more training than it currently does. Kids can come out with a driver's license and be a TERRIBLE driver. There also needs to be harser punisment for traffic violations. |

I think we should keep it at 16, but that shouldn't mean that everyone gets their license at 16. If we actually got some of these punks off the road, it would be safer and insurance prices would go down. But it'll never happen. |

I believe the driving age should not be changed and left at 16. Although depending on if your American, I believe the drinking age should be dropped to 18 to at least be on par with Canada, its not as if they're are enough "kids" underaged drinking anyways |
