They say that i should get checked into a drug rehabilitation center. But the truth is that i really don't want to get help. I do use drugs to get rid of the pain, and these people don't even know me anymore. if i got clean and sober, i would hate my life... when i get off, i don't feel anything anymore. and the truth is that i never wanted to feel. what should i do. i like my new friends, they really know how to have a good time. i mean, i am still in control of my life, i still have my job and i get good grade=s in school, i am just depressed all the time, i know there probably is a better way, but i dont think i can change. they say that you can only get help if you want it right? well, ya... what should i do? |

maybe the question should be why dont they know you anymore? I watched my oldest brother steal cars, rob my mother, my aunt, uncle, steal his newborns diaper money and more for drugs. My other brother was clinicaly labeled a genius, and then he used drugs and got the bright idea to make his own acid. Now he lives on a "crazy check" and doesn't even have a GED. My father was an alcoholic, beat the wife, etc.
in the end its truly up to you. I'm not going to tell you you're evil, but i will tell you this:

I have seen many lives similar to yours changed by the acceptance of Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. He is after all the one that knows best who you were meant to be and what will fill your life with meaning other than drugs. Its not hard to do just admit you are a sinner, ask him to come into your life and your heart and in faith accept his payment of your sins on the cross. Only by the gift of the Holy Spirit can anyone find the true meaning of life and their purpose everything else is a temporary fix. |

YOu need help with your pain. But, you also need to get off the drugs. I have had many people I know die from overdoses. I was no angel when I was younger. But, part of growing up is dropping the drugs and facing the real world.

Get help for your pain and depression from a medical professional. I know it seems like your life is great now, but in the long run your body and brain will start to deteriorate and you would not be able to fulfill your potential. Get off drugs. I've been there and now I'm paying my price for it. |

Well yes you have to want to be helped and what kind of drugs are you using ? Why are you always depress? You have to know. and trust me you dont have friends. Please take care of yourself cause you might end up like my brother . he was smart and doing good in school as you say and he landed in prison due to drugs . |

What is the source of your pain? Consider drug rehab. Not everyone gets through clean the first time, but even if you are keeping yourself together as far as a job and school, sooner or later everything you are taking is going to hit your body. Then, depending on what you are taking, you are going to be depressed with liver and possibly lung problems. |

Fist you say that you really dont want to get help. Then you ask what should you do. Drugs are controlling your life because you are depressed and think that a temporary drug fix is making you feel better. Its a a real see-saw game your playing instead of getting the professional help you need. I don't if its emotional or physical pain you are feeling, maybe both. Drugs highlight pain when sober. Try and do something before you lose control of your life and sink into a painless life. Now who says life is perfectly painless, you have to learn to cope and not take the easy way out using drugs and making a mess out of your job and good grades. |

First you need to get to the root of why you are so depressed. Drugs are only a temporary fix to your problems. Your real friends love and care about you, because if they didn't they would not have recommended that you need help. Your so called friends will never tell you that you need help cause they need help too, misery loves company. Second you need to find an NA clinic near your home to see when the meetings are being held. Since you are not ready to be clean and sober you should rent some movies about people over dosing on drugs and little babies being born addicted to drugs or visit a rehab clinic to see the true effects of drugs. You are right you first gotta want treatment for yourself and I believe you do because if you didn't you would not have wrote in for help. Finally,I pray for you and I really hope that whatever is heavy on your heart God will left it. Also get away from your so called friends, they are only holding you back. Test them to see if they are your true friends tell them that you are quitting drugs and going to a rehab and see what their response is. I will tell you that you will be alright, you are in God's hands. |

i doubt that you will hate life if you stop using them. consider rehab think about it.... everytime you take them when you dont need them you could be taking precious time off your life. |
