For yourself: Rent movies, pop up some popcorn and kick back.
For you and your family: There are a lot of things to do to entertain both adults and the kids. Almost free of charge!
Pack up a pick-nick lunch and go to the park. Visit the zoo. Take your kids to the air port and watch the planes come in, either the small private air port or the commercial airport.
For a date: A romantic pick-nick in the country if you are lucky enough to have country. We lived in Colorado so there were plenty of hide-a-way pick-nick areas in the mountains, be sure to have a bottle of wine with your KFC :). Again, you can rent movies, but this time have fun making your own pizza with ice box biscuit dough. Just take the can of biscuits roll all the dough together, then roll out with rolling pin, add tomato sauce, cheese and your favorite toppings, pop it into the oven @ about 300 degrees, heat until toppings and cheese is bubbly. Of course you will need a bottle of wine to go with the "Home Made" Pizza. |

Definately hit the beach, costs nothing, and theirs usually kiosks near most of the beaches so grab some fresh fish and chips yum!, then a bit of sun bathing but dont forget to slip slop slap, you don't want to get skin cancer brrrr!!! |

Bowling, it's great, I go with my friends all the time. Usually there is like five of us and it's only like fifteen dollars to rent a lane (and we all bring three dollars plus like three extra dollars to get something to eat there). So it's like only six dollars if you are with people. |
