I drink tap water AFTER it is filtered. I believe that tap water is not drinkable UNLESS it is filtered.

Uh, i drink both, my family buys the water because we have the water tank thing. But i don't really see a difference in water. tastes all the same to me. I love water either way. Anyways I live in Virginia Beach Va. And i think the tap water tastes fine. |

I was in S.E. China four years ago and it was highly recommended to buy bottled water and never use tap water.
Now, here in the city I wall always drink bottled water because the water lines that supply the water are over 100 years old and who knows what is living inside them or if any have lead. |

I drink tap water that has been filtered. I live in a suburb of Des Moines, Iowa. Our water is pretty hard because it is Raccoon River water. |

i'm from nyc and we have really clean tap water. But i would still prefer buying bottled water even if its pretty much the same thing. |

I live in South Australia in a really old house and the tap water is grose because the pipesare really old. So, until I move, I'll be drinking bottled water. |

You shouldn't swear off tap water completely. Tap water usually is fluoridated. Fluoride is good for your teeth.
I heard that there has been a rise in dental problems since bottled water took off. It's ironic, don't you think? |

This past week, the University of PA (in Philadelphia) conducted a test that showed that the overwhelming majority of people can not detect a taste difference between bottled & tap water.
They also stated that Aquafina & Dasani are in fact drawn from taps.
Ironically, there was just a news story on Friday about how the tap water in Camden, NJ (just over the bridge from Philadelphia) was yellow & apparently unhealthy. |

its not really safe to drink tap water anymore with all the chemicals they put in everything. i guess for now its ok to take a bath and shower in tap water. The thing is it dosnt taste good but i guess it has to be ok to drink it because the Food and Drug Asministration would do something about it. |
