Depends on what you are buying. I like scrapbook items from Target but we have a Walmart here so most other things are purchased there. |

Wal-Mart is closer to my house. The closet Target is 30 Miles from where I live. Target does have some great sales. If something is on sale at Target, I take my ad to Wal-Mart and I get the item for the sale price at Wal-Mart. |

It depends on what I am shopping for! Sometimes if i am in a huge hurry I will go to target just to avoid the extremely long lines, screaming babies, and absent workers! Just my opinion though! |

Walmart is cheaper than Targets.
Walmart has more variety.
Walmarts are open 24 hours...hence convienience.
Walmarts are larger than Targets...So you can shop longer, giving you time to remember the items that you would forget at other store.
Most Walmarts even have Fastfood inside or a the least a deli so that you can take a prepared meal home at a reasonable price.

Of course TARGET. I refuse to go to Wal-mart.
Target treats its employers much better and gives back to the community. The prices are great and I just love going there. |

Neither!!! You're cheap @ss consumers ruining the small mom and pop stores because you want to save the extra 30 cents on toilet paper or DVDs so you can spend it later to super size your Mc Donalds "value" meal.
My suggestion: buy all things (food, clothing, electornics, etc.) at neighborhood shops which are walking distance (and yes walking distances can be a few miles each way), that way you will support your community and shed pounds and the American stereotype. |

For clothes Target, for electronics,toys , non-food items and sporting goods Walmart. For food i like the Fl based Supermarket Publix the best |

Wal-Mart. ( to those who think Wal-Mart employees are getting the shaft-The pay depends on what part of the country you are in. I get metro pay. It is about 2 to 3 dollars more per hour. And before anyone gets their panties in a wad on why some are paid more in one area than another, it was not their idea. Why would you pay everyone the same when the cost of living in different areas is not the same?) Target is cool, but I like to get everything done in one place. Target and Wal-Mart are eventually going to end up the same. Target is doing some things to get Wal-Mart customers and Wal-Mart is doing things to get Target customers. But price wise, I spend less at Wal-Mart. |

Target has way better merchandise. If you need things like shampoo and trash bags, Wal-Mart is cheaper. For clothes and gift items, Target is nicer. |

I really do like Target better, but our walmart has a grocery store, and rather than make 2 stops walmart usually does the job. Although I will say, I can get in and out of Target quicker. Walmart does a good job of providing what you need but ever try to get out of there in a hurry?..32 lanes and 4 cashiers. |
