There are ways that you are better than her, you just don't see them, because you are too worried about "how much better she is"....Find more friends...connect with new people, and you will see. She might realize that you feel this way, and actually do things to make it worse, without you even seeing them. If she is a true friend, talk to her and tell her ehat is going on, and how you feel. Then if she IS a TRUE friend, she will reassure you about yourself....which is evidently what you need.... |

Yeah me too. It's crap isn't it. You just need to remember that you are both different people with different strengths and weaknesses. I'm sure you can think of some bad points about her. At the end of the day there will be some people who don't like aspects of her personality or other things so really she's not perfect. Just try to see things positively instead of negatively. Stop being jealous of her - I know it's hard, but no one likes someone who's a jealous-jerk! So just perk up a bit, put it all behind you, and I'm sure you can get to her level. And, none of that stuff is going to matter once she hits the real world. Besides maybe the grades - but High School can be simple in comparison.
There's nothing she can do about it, nor you.. so it's a dead issue. =/ |

Why would you want to be better than her. Just enjoy her for who she is. Don't try to be like her, just be yourself even if being yourself is also being like her. Tell her how great you think she is and let her know that sometimes you are jealous of her. You might find out she feels the same about you. |

I understand you. In fact, I went through this before hehe. This is hard. Girls are like that, full of jealousy. Maybe trying to hang out wid your other friends and get closer with some else. This way, you won't spend as much time with her and won't feel bad about yourself. Plus, you shouldn't feel this way because everyone is born with his/her own beauty. :) |

You don't hate her. You are jealous and envious. You need to constantly remind yourself that life is not about who's better, or who has more money, or who has better clothes, or who's prettier, or who's more popular, or who has more boyfriends, etc. Life is about how you live it. It's about you being the best that YOU can be, helping others, etc. Maybe you could ask her to help you fulfill yourself better. I don't know. Maybe that will help you bond more, bringing your friendship to a new, more intimate level. Maybe it will help you forget about what she has.

How about telling her that you sometimes get jealous? At least that way she knows, and you don't have to keep it to yourself anymore! Maybe she will tell you the things that make her jealous, we all feel it from time to time. I bet there are people who are jealous of you too. |
