Definately a scam, but I have not heard of this one. If he calls again ask for his phone number so you can call him back, see what happens. |

Dodgy scam by the sounds of it, trying to make you feel guilty coz you did not sell-non existing-raffle tickets!
bet you never heard of this charity! |
|

|
Definitely a scam. You must notify the police because other gullible people may fall for it. |
|

Sounds more than dodgy! Did you get the name of the bloke? Could you maybe ring the charity to see if they know anything about this, if it's a big scam the charity involved should know about it. |

A typical scam directs you to an anonymous mail box that is difficult to follow through on and no respectable charity or business will ever ask for your banking details. Even your own bank will not ask for such details by phone or online banking. You did right in rejecting the con, remember next time they come after you to do the same. |

yes, report it to the police, see oif anyone else has been contacted in this way |

You should sign up with the Telephone Preference Service cause that will stop you getting these type of phonecalls. Under NO CIRCUMSTANCES should you send anything to these people. If you are in any doubt, why don't you contact the charity directly. |

Sure do send them a cheque, have some faith in humanity! Joking. |

Yes, it is very dodgy. Don't send cheque and if you write down your address and name... Why when you receive a cheque book from the bank they ask you to destroy the front page with that info? |

kimzzooo

yes it is, do not send them anything, and forget about it. if they call again, tell them you donated some money onnline or somthin or tell them you are not intrested, just do it yourself elsewhere, then you who you are dealing with u know.
choose a charity of ur choice and make a donation.
but it was excellent what u did. |

Yes this is a scam. About five yrs ago someone from Australia called me and told me I won a million dollars but all I would have to do is buy some candy for them with a credit card. That is a scam. Check into that! |
