I'm sorry you feel so alone right now.
First of all, read the directions on the box. It's not to difficult.
I hope you find someone to talk to about girl things. Maybe a friends mom? You need to have someone to go to about boys and things like that.
May I also suggest that although at 14 you may want to use tampons, you may want to wait till you've had a few periods first. Sometimes in the begining there just isn't much there and it can be irritating. If you find your flow heavy enough, go for it.
Just so you know, I have a 14 year old daughter, and she now uses them, but didn't for a few months till things got rolling.
Good luck to ya. |

I was 14 when I first used a tampon. I used a mirror to get a look of that whole area. I could see where the blood was coming from. You insert the tampon in, then press down on the plunger. It takes practice. Get the slender ones for your first time. Also, the box comes with instructions which are much better explained than me!!
You'll be fine, Sweetie! |

There are some instructions in the box. For your first time I recommend playtex slimfits, they are very small and won't be as intimidating. Try to relax, that is very important. Pay attention to your body and position is key. Good luck! |

When you buy a box of tampons, there are some really good detailed instructions included in the box. Follow those. I don't want to go into specifics in here cause it might be offensive to other people. Good luck. |

READ THE INSTRUCTIONS INSIDE THE BOX. HOW CAN YOU NOT KNOW THAT. YOU GIVE FEMALES THE STUPID TITLE OF THE WORLD |

I prefer them instead of those bulky pads. I usually remain in the seated position, and apply it that way. Follow the instructions, after that. If it hurts, or is too uncomfortable, try again, with another one. Practice makes perfect. |

Geez im not a girl. But i know that you should read the directions, and remove the wrapper( then you probably "do that thing"). Sorry but thats the best i can do, hope it helps. |

sweet heart you are too young to use a tampon it will mess up your insides or it could give you a yeast infection witch are no fun or worst you could get t.t.s from the tampon just read the back of the box.sweetie stick with pads until your body is done changing |

There are usually intructions in the box. Make sure you are home alone so you have time to relax and practice as it can take a few tries when you first begin. Don't try it untill you have your period though it's not something you want to practice until then. Good luck |
