LOL No. It's an every day occurrence where I live. The town I live in is extremely multi-cultural. The people are from very diverse cultural backgrounds, and there are people around here who speak a myriad of languages. Most of them speak at least a little English too, but when they are together in groups, they speak their native language, and why not? They aren't talking to me, so why would I care what language they are speaking? |

Think about it this way ... you are in another country with some friends and are talking English ... do you think you are going to offend the natives of that country because you are not speaking their language?
It can be a strain on someone that speaks English as a second language to speak it all the time. I know some Latin people that say it is "so nice" to be able to speak Spanish every once in a while.
Short answer: No I would not be offended. |

The world is composed of many people and many languages. But in certain situations it can be rude so you would have to be a bit more specific on that question. |

yes, especially when i feel they don't admire THE PERSON WHO'S STANDING NEXT TO THEM(( me ))
but to feel more comftable ..
I just ignore the language the're using , and begin to listen to the sounds in it
i mean like someone saying : ""laveeda yee Oola""... hhhhhh( sorry i couldn't bear it)
between me& my self I just laugh at these voices.
and then i can see them looking to me and think that im intrested , while Im not !! LOL |
