Well not really a conspiracy.
Have the post office stopped delivering every day? A lot of people I know seem to only get post twice a week, and then handfuls at a time with different posting dates on them.
We'd swear blind that they're saving them up for a few days so they don't have to do daily deliveries for just one letter. |

Im a postman and what we get is what we deliver,post dates are down to the people sending them,ie bank statements and bills.I think most people will find a Tuesday the least delivered mail,not that we are skiving ,its just Tuesday is a very light day and are preparing for the rest of the week. |

I agree with this, the postal service has been absolutely dire recently, with first class letters taking weeks to arrive!
Our post now doesn't come till around 12pm, and we never get post on a saturday.
Makes me laugh that the workers are threatening a strike on friday, don't know how we're going to notice the difference!
Also seems to be a huge amount of post going missing at the moment, I work an internet retailer, and the number of parcels lost by royal mail has increased a lot recently. However, this also ties in with the info that was released earlier this week that any parcels lost in the system Royal Mail open and sell the contents on Ebay, and keep the proceeds!
I think Royal Mail is slowly dying, they lost a contract worth 8 million pounds from Amazon last week for deliverying second class post. |

There is a legal obligation to deliver and collect every weekday. Complain if you know you are due a letter that hasn't arrived. |

Postmen certainly seem to cut corners if they can. Our road ends in a dead end so rather than the postman walking all the way to the end and then doubling back he'd put the post for the end houses in whichever no. house he decided was far enough along the road. Therefore leaving the post with a neighbour so they could do his job for him! |

There has got to be a conspiracy somewhere. My sister is currently serving in Afghanistan, she sent a letter home and it arrived on 8th June. The postmark on was 12th June! Work that one out. |
