With all the things I mentioned before, you might be surprised to discover that...I am utterly mortified at the mere thought of a spider touching me!!! I nearly wrecked my car when a spider swung down on his web from the sun visor in front of me! My daughter (who was 13 years old at the time and in the passenger's seat) had to snag the critter before I completely lost control. I was about two seconds away from climbing into the back seat when she caught him. I made my way over to the curb and climbed out of the car, whereupon I went into a convulsive shaking fit right there on the side of the road (while my daughter released the spider back into the wild). I'm sure the other motorists passing by thought I was having an epileptic seizure of my own! |

I am terrified of birds... It's not so much the actual bird itself that scares me, it's when they start flapping their wings... Oh and don't even get me started on Seagulls...
I found out about 5 years ago that this is my Dad's fault... He saw me flinch and run when we were walking through the town one day (there were loads of pidgeons..) he sort of said "Ooooh... Sorry that was me that did that to you" He then told me that when I was about 6 there was a bird trapped in the shed at the bottom of the garden and he had told me to go in... Thinking it was highly amusing, he shut the door with me in there... Apparently, I freaked big time...

Loss of control.
I'm a control freak. I need to know that someone is in control (not necessarily me), who this someone is and if they are loosing control so I can take over.
I am also rather afraid of heights or more correctly falling. Falling being to me a compelte loss of control.
And I am terrified of dogs. |
