No, dear, Walmart and K-Mart are seperate entities. Actually, Sears merged with K-Mart recently (K-mart filed for bankruptcy protection about 5 years ago). Walmart is trying to take over the world, K-Mart/Sears are trying hard to stay afloat, and Target markets to people who who are sick of those three and want to be trendy

FYI: K-Mart owns Sears, no competition there. WalMart (and Sam's Clubs), without question is the country's largest retailer. Otherwise, if you stuck me in the middle of any one of them, I couldn't tell the difference.
