I had a party for my daughter. First, I made a video from her photos from birth and rented a big screen TV.
I invited people who had been important to her, like her teachers, dance teacher, Brownie leader, friends of hers and of mine who had known her over the years.
I had another video made at the party, interviewing her firends about her.
Everyone signed a huge card.
We had pop, juice, finger foods, and a huge cake. We watched the video of my daughter, ate and visited, opened gifts, and had cake. Then we watched a reguar video I'd rented for her friends and the older people had a visit.

I would have a theme for the year you were born. 16 years ago would be 1990. Find out the weird, the notable, the changes that took place in 1990 etc. I would play music that came out in 1990, and have others dress from the fads of that year, and have your friends also come with an interesting fact about 1990 to share. Also, you could center games and decorations around that year as well.
You could go all out or keep it more simple. Most important, HAVE A BLAST. |

Happiness with some temperance knowing that your young and that there's plenty of time to experience life's pleasures! My advice is to not try to do everything overnight. There will be many nights that you can share with friends, lovers and family if you'll have the patience to let life bring them to you as I know it will. |

I dressed up in my favorite color, purple. Everything in my party was purple. I did my party in my house, but you can always rent a hall or a place if you don't want it done at home. |

I had a pool party for mine. BBQ, pool funness, and a little time away from the parents to play Truth and Dare, and Spin the Bottle. An overall good time ;)
