i think Canada is just a nice modest country that cares about its people. don't get me wrong America does too but they are more concerned about money--its a capitalistic nation. Its too macho. we are too patriotic. Yes America is a great country but we have big heads about our nosy, intruding, arrogant, careless society. I don't know why Americans talk bad about Canada. Maybe we're just jealous... |

well, the farther north you go in canada, the more cold the temperatures are going to be (that's the obvious)--if you live around the great lakes regions, you'll experience lake effect weather. however, some of the benefits to living in canada are:
the crime rate is considerably lower than a lot of the united states (even in the bigger canadian cities)
depending on where you're deciding to live--it's a very pretty country (if you like wildlife and such)
also, they are a socialist country--everyone gets great healthcare--for free

It is the only G8 country running a federal surplus, mostly due to the huge oil deposits, second only to Saudia Arabia.
It is highly multicultural and beloved internationally.
The primary education system is better than that of the U.S., although I'd want a U.S. major college degree if I had my choice.
I am Canadian living in Orange County, CA. Heaven on earth, right. Well, if I could take this weather back to Toronto, my American wife and I would be gone in an instant.

the best thing aobut living in Cananda is that your not from the USA, your not responsible for all the wars the USA picks with weak small countires and your not responsible for the milliions the US government kills in these wars and never talks about to their own citizens and thier citizens are so irresponsible to think about that they are the biggest strongest country in the world and they abuse thier power to benefit themselves. if your canadain you can be proud of your contries history of peace and respect for all peoples. |
