It depends on your living situation. If you are living at home and not expected to contribute to the household expenses, then you have choices you don't have if you own your own home or rent. In that case, you could pay your utility bills or buy groceries or pay ahead on your home payment or rent. If you are married, you and you husband may or may not need the money in which case you will decide whether you spend it or spend it together. If you have children, it's really easy to spend $200, as kids are usually growing and they eternally need clothes or shoes. I'm sure you have a mental list of priorities that are your most important things to pay first with your money. You don't say if you have enough money to start with. It also depends on what part of the world you live in as to what you might buy. Or you know you could save it for a "rainy day." |
