I don't think it is as much science as a common sense thing.
Just do research on what you need to make a decision on. Figure out the pros and cons of your decision and go from that.
It also helps to find others who have been faced with the same decision that were successful in whatever you are trying to accomplish. Just ask them what worked for them and analyze the situation to see if their actions could work for you as well. Just because something is right for one doesn't mean it is right for another. But if you get the facts from experienced people, you can decide if their actions are something that you can live with and if the affects (or outcome) could be the results that you want.
Making decisions is as much trial and error as anything. If you make a decision and then realize it is not producing the result that you want, change directions and try something different. It is never too late to change anything that you want changed in your life. It only takes making a new decision and taking the necessary actions to produce the results that you want.

I tend to like to be very analytical. I try to pick important factors and grade my choices on a scale of 1 to 10. I then add up the points. Which ever one gets the highest score is usually the better choice. I will include factors like a color that I like and add a point to give one choice a little help. |

the best way to make the decisions is that you have to list down all the options and then make the best options. Be careful, you have to think about the side effects of that option before the best decision can be made. |

Go on instinct--gut instinct, if you think to much you will tie yourself in knots and get it wrong 9 times out of ten |

tarot cards...lol. no, just kidding. Probably, write down all your options and then under each one list the pros and cons. However, in the end, it usually is with your gut instinct. I think we sell that gut instinct short a lot of times.
btw, it also depends on the type of decision...deciding on a job or a stock market pick are much different than say a personal decision, in my opinion. |

I like to make a list of pros and cons. Sometimes, I already have an idea of what I want to do, so I don't always follow the list. It does help you see things from each side though. |

Make a list of pros and cons or reasons why to do something or not to - depending on the decision I guess. Realize though that its not just I have x number on this side vs. that side. Weight each of your pros and cons 1-5. Give it plenty of thought if its an important one. Add them up and go with the one that totals more..sometime though you just got to go with that gut feeling - if I have that I scrap the above and go with it. |

I think the best way to make a decision is write down the pro's and con's of what your trying to decide and see which way it leans. |

Always weigh your options. And always make a pros's and con's paper list. That way you can see which is more valuable and weather the pros out weigh the cons. good luck i hope all gos well. |
