First, let me explain the best way to use credit cards and then I'll finish up with how to apply for the best card(s) for you:
1. Find the rewards card(s) that will pay you the most for your normal expenses (I'll explain how in a second)
2. Funnel most/all of your normal expenses through your rewards card(s) without max'ing them out
3. Always pay your monthly balance off in full and on time.
That way you'll:
1. Build your credit quickly (based on responsible utilization of your lines of credit)
2. Avoid interest and fees
3. Earn great rewards

nowadays its very simple. just call any bank call center. tell them you want to apply for credit card. they will send their executive to your place. you just need to give identity proof, pan card xerox and you last two months payslip... Bingo!! you had just applied for a credit card.
Note : But before applying, please do review all the terms and conditions. Ask your friends who had taken that bank's credit card about their experience. Also check out the offers given by them. |

You have to go to the bank - or ring the bank - they will give you an application you have to fill in - then they will do a check and see if you are eligible...

The best way is ask any of ur frends who r working in MNCs to give ur reference If anyone calls them for credit card offer (Bcoz they just get atleast 5 calls per day regarding new credit cards). The next day u will get calls asking u if u want a new credit card.

If u r having an account in any of the banks just call customer care and ask them u need to apply for a credit card. Then they can guide u through

Do you want like a major credit card...for example....Mastercard...Visa...American Express? For those you can go to most of their websites and apply for the card that best fits your financial needs.Also, wherever you bank....whether it is Bank of America or Wells Fargo etc...they usually offer major credit cards with good interest rates bc you bank with them.
If you want a specialy store charge card....for example...Macys...Nordstrom...Best Buy...Target or something like that...you can apply for them at most stores either when you check out or at the customer service desk.
You usually will need them to run your credit by giving all your information and your social security #.
