Go to your bank and tell them to stop all future payments to the scammers, and try to get the bank to work to recover past payments made to the scammers. Meanwhile get bank statements and all correspondence with the scammers printed up and take it to the police. |

First, change your checking account ASAP. Simply telling the bank you want future payments denied may not be enough; they may be able to change the name or amount and have the withdrawals go through.
Any payments that have already been taken are probably lost. If this is a scam, it will be next to impossible to find the con artists and get your money back. You can report this to your state attorney general's office. They probably will not do anything about your case specifically, but at least it will put them on alert that there is a new scam out there they need to be on the lookout for. |

It has already been over a year. There should be a way you could cancel if you want to. Never pay for anything over the phone. Never give out personal bank account number or credit card numbers. You may have to close your bank account and open a new one at a different bank. |

You could perhaps change your checking account. Thus they cannot get your money and file a report to your law enforcement.
Or you could go to law enforcement first and see what they say. I do not know if you can get a penalty for changing your checking info because I do not really have payments of my own. |

how was that $1000.00 free, 16 x $58.74 = $ 939.84. ultimately you are almost paying for that 1000.00. that is a scam. contact your bank and ask them to stop payments on it as soon as possible. |

It is a pain in the a** but you need to close your checking account. You can open a new in the same bank. Let you back know also what is going on. Like putting a stop payment on a check it will cost you a bit depending on you back but that all should work. Good Luck!!! |
