you don't have to have a high-paying job to make a million, but it helps.

if you haven't gone to school yet, here's some advice: DON'T GET A LIBERAL ARTS DEGREE. go for accounting, engineering, law, medicine, science, etc. you know, something that will actually get you a decent-paying job when you graduate.

once you get a nice job, work hard and prove yourself. get promoted = a higher paycheck.

also familiarize yourself with the concept of "delayed gratification." sure, it's only a 3-dollar cup of coffee today. but imagine all the cups of coffee you buy in your lifetime...how much money would that be if you'd put it into mutual funds instead? that's not to say you can't enjoy life now, but you don't need to go overboard here.

speaking of mutual funds, learn about investing for the long term so you can watch your money grow over time. think mutual funds. buybooks on the subject. a really good one i got is called "the motley fool guide to investing for teens" or something like that. it's not just for teenagers; it has a lot of good advice for people of any age.

good luck; remember that your dreams are what drive you in life so never let them go until you accomplish them!

Do you really think that anyone with an easy answer to this question would really be here answering questions?

OK, OK, OK... You wanted a job title or something, how about CEO to a Fortune 500 company? Or an Oil tycoon? Or you could just win the lotto a few times.

No job pays millions if you are just average, you have to be really really great at what you do.

However, these jobs have a potential of earning millions:
investment bank
business owner
plastic surgeon
lawyer
