Seeing as how you are probably a minor, I would have to just say 'stretch and/or scream really loud.' |

Get up about 20 minutes before you are asked to. Do a short stretching/toning routine. Take deep breaths. Rest for 5-7 minutes and then get ready for school. |

Maybe you need to get to bed a little earlier at night, so that when you get up in the morning you aren't tired. Try getting up a few minutes earlier in the morning so that you won't feel stressed out getting ready for school.
My son would complain like you that he is tired in the morning and most times I too have to rush him, he is actually a slow poke, so I get him to bed like an hour/half earlier hour depending on homework schedule and he feels alot better in the morning. |

Develop a routine. Say, bed at 10, up at 6 and go for a jog or something. By the time you get back, you'll still have enough time to get ready for school without your parents breathing down your neck. |

Sometimes what we think feels like being tired is just our bodies getting a slow start in the morning. Try going to the shower immediately after you wake up, after washing normally, rinse with cool (Cold is best) water. The change between warm and cold helps stimulate your body. Then after you dry off, take at least 4 deep breaths ( inhale slowly thru your nose and blow out thru your mouth). The increased oxygen is also a stimulent. Keep a eye on the clock and budget your time. Now, as you are getting dressed and brushing your hair, think about all the good things you want to do today. Remember; "Happiness is the manner in which you travel, not the destination you arrive at" (I read that somewhere) Enjoy! |
