I sell mainly baby and kids clothes and there's this consignment shop that has all brands of clothes and they have to look and be nice w/no tears or holes in order to take them from other people to sell. I once got a baby gap sweater from there..paid 1.99 and my daughter wore it once or twice...sold it on ebay for $6. I check out old navy and ross to for their clearance sales also. Go to garage sales and see what you find also. I find an extreme amount of clothes and objects to sell. Now finding online I'm not sure..I go out to find my stuff.

doesn't really work like that or everyone would do it.
but you can go to wholesalecentral.com and buy a order in bulk and sell individually. most sites have minimum orders and you get a bulk shipment, then its as easy as reselling the stuff. hopefully cutting a profit... |

I suggest buying at a wholesale price or buying something that you could get at a garage sale or something like that, that's the kind of stuff that you could get a significantly higher price for on ebay.

Everything on eBay starts out pretty cheap and there is not any guarantee that it will go high. I have bought some things on eBay and bid until I got them - so the price was high and maybe the seller did make some money. But there are thousands of similar items to what I bought and many are not going to sell at all.
I'd say 1) get a guide to selling on eBay ('eBay for Dummies' or something like it. and 2) know the item you are going to sell really well - be an expert on that item since you are going to have to answer questions about it and you want to know the value of the thing before you try to sell it.
Are you a fantastic expert on anything? Collect a few of those things and try to sell them. See how it goes. |

You'd need lots of money upfront because you need to buy in bulk and then you'll get a big discount. Then you can sell them for regular price -or just below- on ebay. |

If you mean buying things on ebay and then reselling for a profit, forget it. Unless you are buying bulk lots, and dividing them up, you are going to be buying it at about the price that ebay will support.
But, if you can get it in bulk, and divide it into individual lots, here are a few suggestions:

Housewares (linens, bath stuff, etc...)
Tools (especially saw blades and router bits)
Flashlights (LED ones are big sellers) |
