Constricted pupils.
Jittery pupils, appear to bounce from side to side rapidly.
Often, when someone is thinking of their lie they will look to the upper left. Supposedly because the left side of the brain is creative.
Shallow breathing.
An overly head gaze. When people talk we naturally look away from time to time. To fight this someone who is not telling the truth and has heard the adage "Look me in they eye," will do just that. They will stare at you forecfully. |

Their mouths start to move :0
sometimes their heart pumps faster when they lie so look in the area where the adams apple is and you can tell their heart beat is pumping harder.
Also they swallow hard. |

People will either avoid your eyes or look at you in a way that doesn't really make contact. They will also often unconsiously shake their heads while they are lying. |

One thing is to check the eyes. If they have a difficult time looking at you, or if they blink their eyes much more than normal, it is a possible sign of lying. But some people are such good liars that they don't show any signs at all and actually believe their own lies. |

They can't really talk to you "to your face" and if they are really bad liars, the fumble a lot, especially with their words. |

They will:
*** Shake their head in a different direction than what they are saying (if they're saying, "Yes...." they will be shaking their head as if to say, "No..") ...and vice versa
*** They will usually jerk their shoulders up while they're talking (for seemingly no good reason)
*** They will probably touch their nose quite a bit
*** They will tend to NOT look at you while talking
*** They may tend to close their eyes while talking
Holy crap! If you're dealing with a liar get away quickly. ...I've found that liars will eventually do anything because they don't mind lying to someone.
Best of everything! |

well first you have to know the persons normal antics. maybe they are the kind of person that moves around alot naturaly. so once you know how they are usuall, you can analyze what they are doing differently when they speak to you. but most commonly negative eye contact, stuttering, and antsy behavior is a giveaway. |

One of the first things they do is either cross their arms or they cross their legs if they are sitting down. They create a barrier.
I took the course in the link below....and tried it on people! You will see... the moment they need a second to think up a good lie, they will cross their hands, arms or legs. But if they are telling you the truth, there is no barrier between you and them. |

I think one of the most frequent and obvious one is touching their nose, look to the left side instead of looking at you.Look at that link they give more detailed ones.. |

one main sign of unprofessional liars is - when they do not see you in the eye. Instead they look else where while talking to you. And he will keep minimum physical contact with you.
Might keep his hands folded or in his pockets
They would avoid details too.
They often tend to repeat the question you ask them.
A guilty person gets defensive. An innocent person will often go on the offensive.
A liar might unconsciously place objects (book, coffee cup, etc.) between themselves and you.
The guilty person may speak more than natural, adding unnecessary details to convince you... they are not comfortable with silence or pauses in the conversation. |

There will be no eye contact. It is a complete giveaway. |

try to ask a question, then immediately change the topic,... but be sure to remember the answer. Then, ask that question again after 2 weeks.... |

I'm a master at lying. Right before you ask them a question, look at thier face. If they know that question is coming they will look the other way. Look at there eye brows, its going to a "think what to say scrung" and you know when they are lying cause the next word will be a noun . try it. |

i dont belive in the "looking away/no direct eye contact" thing coz i myself can lie to anybody straight 2 their face without them knowing. i dont think that there really is any sure-shot way of knowing if someone's lying 2 u. |

avoid eye contact all together orstare at spot just to the side of your face, cross arms in defensive pose, turn slightly away, sweating, increased heartbeat(can sometimes be seen in neck or temple or grab wrist and casually check pulse), play with their hair, or change in voice or regular behaviors. |
