It has been a while since I needed to know the answer to your question. However, as I remember, you will first need your parents permission. Some possibilities might be working at a flower shop, a pet kennel, the old standby babysitting, pet sitting, check with neighbors to see if you could clean their homes, ask your guidance councilor if there are any state funded programs you might qualify for. Some schools hire students to clean the school after hours. I hope this helps.

Most places won't hire you unless you are 16 or almost 16. And you can get a job anywhere that has the flexible hours that you'll need because of school. So look into retail, food places, or recreational places like theater, bowling alley, roller rink ......

Kitty Cat
Check out www.snagajob.com they have a lot of retail companies that hire young adults, but usually you have to be at least 16yrs old and have a work permit.
Check with your high school counselor to see if they have any other suggestion like ROP

Well...I don't understand the "places" part, but maybe babysitting, 'cause all the jobs I'm thinking of, you would have to be over 18.

larrys_babygurl_4life
McDonald's hires 15 year olds and up. They can get a paper route. Other than that I would say just odd jobs like baby-sitting, Mowing yards, shoveling snow.

MOST other places require you to be at least 16 years old and some even require you to be 18 or 21. (Even some retail stores)

Mcdonald's, movie theatres, anything that involves minimum wages basically.

Try any store in the mall. When I was in high school everyone worked at the mall.

Probably fast food restaurants, in the local mall. Some places do not hire under 18 and others allow it.

Anywhere as long as it doesn't interrupt your school schedule and you get permission from your school to work... you go to your office and ask for the permit to work

any fast food or restuarnt. bowling alleys, grocery stores, dollar stores, meijers, targets, walmarts etc

John H
any farm or greenhouse that hires migrant workers would hire a teen for the same rate, less than minimum wage. Minimum wage only applies to 16 and older anyways. You make money by working lots of hours.

dont really get the question.
gimme 10 points ? please ? please? thanks.
