Why do 13 year olds always need money?
What kind of expenses do you have?
Bills to pay?
Children to support? |

Dog Walking - Make up lots of flyers! Put them up around your school, neighbourhood, maybe even ask your parents to take them to work with them.
Babysitting - You can go through St. John's Ambulance and take a babysitting course. It's relatively cheap, and it will inform you of all the things that could potentially go wrong, and how to solve the problems. People are more likely to leave their children with you if you have certification.
Paper Route - You can deliver papers or magazines. Contact your local newspaper and ask if there are any routes that are close to your home.
House Cleaning - You can go door-to-door to people in your neighbourhood (especially the elderly) and ask if they need any light household cleaning done.
Good Luck!
Also, check some local newspaper ad's, and see what jobs you could be qualified to do. Or through your school, see what other people your age are doing. Make sure you have your parents consent. Especially for going to other people's homes. |

its not too early to get a job as a referee in soccer. They may have to be certified, but its great money and its tax-free. it was my first job as a kid for 5 years. its not year round though.
how about bagging groceries at your local grocery store? they hire young kids. usually no younger then 12 |

Have you considered a "Helper Service". There are lots of older folks out there that could use help around the house with cleaning, chores, shopping or just spending time with. Dog walking is a great job too. Babysitting is always an option as well. When i was younger I used to make a poster type sign with my info and the types of things I could do and post them in the local supermarkets. |

Try getting a job as a newpaper carrier.
It worked for me when I was your age.
And I did it alllll year round.
Or maybe sell some old clothes at a thrift store. |

Babysitting is a good way to make money... girls and boys can babysit. If you are good with kids and enjoy playing parents will hire you regardless if you're a boy or a girl. You could also maybe do odd jobs around your house for a couple of bucks... maybe walk neighbors dogs for a few bucks every day or every other day... that's all I can really think of... |
