Do yardwork for people. With the heat going around, nobody wants to be outside that much. Cut some yards and stuff. You can make more than just $20 bucks a day. Go with a pitch along the lines of it being too hot for people to do yardwork and offer to do it for them for some money. It's a start and doesn't require any brain cells to do. It's either that or just stand on your favorite corner and take every "customer" that comes along. |

You could do odd jobs for that. Is there a place in your town where people hang around, waiting to be hired for pickup jobs? Where I live, it's out front of the lumber yard. There may also be job boards at the Salvation Army, or the unemployment office, etc., for people who want yard work done or cleaning. Or you could make up a flier with your contact information. Do you have a cell phone, or someone who will take messages for you? If you stay in a cheap hotel or motel, the desk clerk will probably take messages for you.
Good luck to you. I know the frustrations you are going through. How can you have time to look for a good job if your time is taken up just making ends meet? But some part-time work pays enough per hour that you will do OK if you can do relatively physical labor. My problem is being old enough and out of shape enough that only a brain job, not a physical job, will work for me. |

Anyway, there are places that hire you for the day and pay you for the day. I think they're called work for hire or something like that. It's an agency.

Go to nearest state unemployment office and ask for help.They will find some thing. You may have some unemployment coming.
Go on welfare, do not have to stay there.
Cheapest hotel is $30.00 per night, you will need additional $20.00 to eat.
You also need telephone.......... looks like you definitely need a place to stay. |

Try organism marketting, like Foundation for Cancer, thay need people to ask donations by phone, you read a text. Usually even not bad paid...(9$ for foundation, and maybe 8$ and commision with ordinary marketting, but its far more harder......Donations are easy, and people response is very good, and it's motivating you work for help...

well you could be a waitress because they can usually bring in 40 -50 dollars a night depending how busy they are. OR trying working at fast food or mowing yards. Another thing you could do while waiting to get a real job is post your resume online. monster.com, careerbuilder.com are some that you could start to find really jobs. maybe bartending usually makes good tips. |
