go to the craft store and buy some candle making supplies.
make candles, they are cheap to make (seems expensive at first, but you can make a lot of small ones) then sell then depending on size.
make sure who you sell them to knows what the money is going to!
any of you good at knitting? make scarfs. of course that depends where you live.
you can also have a bake sale.
if you have a wholesale store (like bj's, or sams club) you can buy cases of candy and sell them at a normal price but get a good profit. you can also buy cookies and already baked goods to sell. |

Send a stamped, self addressed envelope to everyone you know and explain what the funds are being raised for, ask them to donate if they can, remind them it is tax deductible and then promise to put their name on a banner that supports your team (or club, or youth group or whatever). (Then get a sign company to donate the banner of course). Another easy frundraiser is restaurants. Line up a "eat out night" once a week for a month at different area restaurants that agree to give you a percentage of the sale that night. |

um, try a raffle. But you need to get the proper documentation for it. And you need something worth raffling, but sometimes many people have good stuff laying around.
Have a Halloween party and charge 10.00 a head. Have a bowl athon...
Opportunities are endless... |

Bake sale actually makes you a lot of money.
Car wash when it gets a bit sunnier.
and yes door-to-door chocolate sale is good, if you dont get chocolates from supermarket and sell them at 2xprice. |

How 'bout selling gourmet candles? It's officially "holiday season" and this is the time of year when scented candles are most popular. I do fundraisers selling these. If you'd like more info hit me up and I'd be glad to share with you. |

You can try selling taffy apples! I had to sell them for my sons fundraiser for school.. I sold almost $400 dollars worth! Imagine how much all the other parents raised! And thats that I only had one week to sell.
OR selling chocolates are good. How about Krispy Creme donuts? Candy sells good. Go with candy or taffy apples. You can also throw a big party and have people pay a cerain amount for tickets.. let them know its a fundraiser! you will be amazed on how many peopel show!
Have a bake sale, you can make alot of money from that. Have a yard sale, garage sale..
Good Luck |

Walkathon, pancake breakfasts, finding someone to sponsor you for your trip, selling things. The important thing to remember is that this economy is bad and people are more likely to give to an established charity that helps people rather than a trip or something. 50/50 raffle and the above suggestions are all good too. Maybe a business will sponsor you in exchange for adverts in the yearbook?
(sorry--I automatically assumed you were a schoolkid looking to raise money) |

car washes...people hate to have to get out in cold weather and wash their cars.
candy sales...you may be able to hook up with some of the suppliers that get your kids to sell candy at schools...google...
a benefit....that would depend on what you are raising the money for...make up flyers and put an ad in the paper to announce the fund raising...places may be willing to support you and donate food or products to sell at the benefit (my cousin had extremely high medical bills and the community came together and had a benefit to raise money and hersey's bbq donates pounds and pounds of bbq to sell).
coupon books...search google...they mail those coupon books to you...you sell them and you keep 1/2+ the profit.
good luck...i need to raise $18K....for a lawyer...no one wants to support that issue though......good luck though. |
