I live in upstate NY and today it was $2.39/gallon. When I got gas Monday, it was $2.43...naturally. Yes it makes me mad, but there is really nothing that I do. NY taxes everything and it seems like NY taxes more than most states. I choose to live here, so I have to deal with it I suppose. |

I am only upset that the automobile manufacturers no longer make cars like my old Ford Festiva (45MPG city, 50 MPG hwy). Short of getting a hybrid it is nearly impossible to find any car that gets 40MPG anywhere. It will only get higher, it is a commodity. (let alone my wish that there was an extra 10 cents a gallon tax dedicated soley to mass transit) Milk on the other hand, why has that gone up 60 cents a gallon in the last year, are people eating too many hamburgers? Are the cows on strike? (it doesn't cost 60 cents extra to ship that one gallon so don't say purely the cost of gas) |

$2.27-$2.35, nah nothing you can do about it. You can just stop driving if it bothers you so much. |

I am in Northern California and we are paying around $2.59 here. Sometime I hafta laugh at those pretentious pricks who are driving their Hummers. It is expensive enough to fill up my Honda. |

And yes; these prices are killing us!
Dating myself I suppose, but when I first started driving it was like $0.65 per gallon! |

$2.07 p/gal in Chesapeake Va. and it pisses me off when I see people in these huge SUV's and Hummers that get 7 MPG driving by themselves, wasting gas for a status symbol on wheels, idiots like that deserve to walk everywhere they go.So what if they can "afford" the gas, they are still wasting resources so they can look "cool" in a huge vehicle getting 7 or 10 mpg. It's the same thing as leaving your windows and doors open with the heat on in your house, wasting energy is wasting energy regardless of the application. I'll guarantee you it'll be these same people who whine the loudest when the shortage of fuel hits home hard. |

$2.49 for regular in Ohio and it definitely doesn't make me very happy! At least it isn't past three dollars(yet). For a while a couple months ago it was over $3.00 a gallon. I liked it much better when i could get the most expensive for $1.99 a gallon! All of this is just crazy! |

in central MN its 2.39 prices change the closer you get to big cities here. I hate how its roller coasters in price ranges, you have to purposely watch the prices so you can hightail it to get gas on a cheaper day before it rockets back up. |

I was taking my kids to school yesterday and didn't have time to stop for gas @ $2.18 and on the way back from the school they changed the prices on me to $2.25. That bites.
