The most you can do is talk with her and wait and see if they have become sexually active, is so charges of statory rape can be filed against him as well as a TRO, and if he is convicted of the statory rape he will have to register as a sex offender.
There is another option in which you can try is that you have supervised dating, because for most parents it's not always the age thing that bothers them the most it is the not knowing what type of person their daughter is dating. |

talk to her and be calm about it ask her if she is sexually involved with him tell her to be honest with you tell her you wont be mad you are just looking out for her. i dont know were you live but were i am its only ileagal if they are haveing sexuall relations but if she is 18 or older there is nothing you can do but if she is a minor then he can get in trouble for haveing sex with a minor |

magistrate and file a restraint order against this individual. She must be with you, so she can give the clerk the facts. |

How old is your daughter?? Does she live in your house?? If she does, then it is your responsibility to make sure her and this guy are not seeing eachother, not his. She is your daughter, and should listen to you. Obviously she is not old enough or mature enough for you to trust her judgement, so you should spank her little *** and lock her in her room. Otherwise, offer to have him over for supervised visits with your family (dinner, game night, etc.) and make him gain your trust. If he has good intentions for wanting to date your daughter, then he will be willing to spend time with all of you, even if it means having her parents beside of him on the couch. Give the two of them a time limit, if he arrives at 5, make him leave by 8:30 or 9. If he is unwilling to abide by your rules, then file a restraining order. Of course, your daughter is going to have to make her own mistakes in order to learn from them. Just dont let it go too far. |

Laws vary from state to state, and depend on the age of both parties.
Statuatory rape is an offense that does NOT need the victim to press charges, the state presses charges on the victims behalf. That the police were unwilling to pursue it implies that the age difference does not represent a crime in your state -or- that they didn't feel there was enough to go forward on. An angry mom usually isn't enough.
As long as he stays away from you, there isn't a whole lot you can do in a practical manner and locking her in the basement will sooner get you in jail than him. |

Overall, unless there are signs of physical force, coercion, or sexual contact, the male in question is within his rights to see anybody hesoever chooses to see. It is up to the female in question to agree to or deny him access. So just because you may not approve does not mean it is wrong for her to be seeing him.
