Pros of working for the Government: won't go out of business, rarely get laid off, get paid quite well, get way more days off, don't have to work hard or produce, etc.....................................… Cons of working for the Government: you are a leach on society, you rarely accomplish anything, you are totally powerless to change or improve your job, you are a tiny cog in a huge machine - and these things apply to your boss, and to his boss, too. Which means it is just plain depressing for everyone involved. |
