Would really appreciate a mature answer to this as I`ve been trying to resolve it for many years. I love women and they like me but they can turn on you in a New York minute leaving the poor man scratching his head, then calling him a JERK. What is a JERK? Are all men JERKS? I`m a very understanding man and treat each woman I meet with respect unless she shows me different. I will respect and appreciate any feedback by anyone on this question if it is a legitmate answer. Dennis I could ask the same question about men, the same could be said when Im left scratching my head thinking "what the F... was that all about" ,...No not all men are Jerks, a Jerk means a stupid or ignorant person, truly that is what it means... And not all women are vain... You may find women that you have a lot in common with but it does not mean that you will not encounter a lot of differences, it really comes down to idividuality...And of course Men are different to women besides physical differences, such as emotions and I am not saying that men are unemotional, just that they may express emotions differently, as well as opionions and thoughts ... I think your doing okay when you say your understanding and treat each woman with respect, you cant do to much wrong there... I believe as idividuals we can all be very complex at times, and who hasnt been left standing scratching their heads thinking WHAT THE ..... I hope you get some good feedback to your question... |

There is a different answer for each situation. There might be something about your personality that doesn't click well with hers, and being inconsiderate she shouts the first thoughtless thing she can think of "You're a jerk!". Which really sometimes means "You're not what I want". Another reason is because she's insecure, and is afraid that if she doesn't push you away first you will do it to her. Everyone is scared of rejection, and a lot of women are already insecure... rejection would only harm their hearts more. Maybe you should try killing her with kindness. If she says "You're a jerk" ask "why?" and if she can't figure out why then tell her you don't want to push her, but when she's ready to talk you will listen. Just a few suggestions.... it's hard to say if I don't know the whole situation. I will admit though... sometimes girls are just really PMSy and it pushes guys away. |

I think that you need to look at women more individually than collectively. You can't just lump either gender into a generalization like that with any success.
Did you ask her why, specifically? Without more details it's hard to answer you.
I think you are attracting a certain type of girl. Why is that?
When you start taking interest in the next woman- think more about understanding HER than understanding women. I would also suggest trying someone who is a little different than what you usually go for.

From your question, I can't seem to find the connection with women being vain and you being called a jerk. The reasons I can think off for a woman to call you that in relation to vanity is that you may have offended her with a comment of yours that relates to her beauty, bearing, looks or lack thereof. It could be more of a "sensitivity" issue rather than a vanity issue for the woman. And since you don't seem to have a clue as to what you did wrong, chances are, that's probably it. Some women are sensitive about certain topics regarding their looks because that would be an indication of desirability by the opposite sex. You may have said something else but it came across to her as "you are not desirable" or "why are you bothering with that? no one would care anyway". In any case, these words are hurtful for a woman to hear. |

most women are vain because they have been hurt or used at one point in time most have this attitude I'm going to get you before you have a chance to get me ,a lot of women who have been hurt take their anger and revenge out on all men they judge all men by one i did for a long time but i come to learn that all men are not the same some men really does care and have a heart ,i guess some men feel the same way about women ,a lot of women and men has lost good people because of this me for one ,and you are right women can turn on you fast i no this is no excuse for what you have ask but maybe in some strange way it will help |

I personally don't think we women are all vain...My husband loves me with everything he has and I do not wear makeup or priss and prean all througout my day in the mirror. It is the inner beauty in a person you need to find, find a church you can call home. =) |

Well honestly, women ask the same thing about men, but it goes more like "What are men all about, REALLY? Why are they all d*cks?". I find that most men are complete a**holes. Men find that most women are b*tches. That's just the way of the world, and the way it goes until you find "the one". And even she won't be perfect. So my advice, just get used to it! |

I think most woman don't feel respected enough, so at times they tend to act crazy. If only a man could walk in a girls shoes for a day maybe it would be easier to understand, I mean it's hard. I know there are good men out there but a lot of the PLAYERS give guys bad reps. So woman are always on the look out so they don't get hurt just my perspective hope this help hey, PMS and pregnancy play a big part in ATTITUDE TOO !! |

well you have obviously not been around many women i know including myself... but to answer your question over 50 % of women are backstabbers and nasty to boot and i can say this because I am a woman. I myself have more friends that are guys for that simple fact women are too catty and nasty most of the time. funny thing is believe it or not you will find the right one and she will make you feel like a million bucks. As far as bashing hun.. no worries from this native nova scotian lady.. remember respect is earned not given freely... so don't let the bitches walk all over you darlin... but remember don't judge a book by it's cover. and hang in there ok:) My hubby got hurt by a gf before me and i'm still dealing with the bs she caused... and he and i have been together for 6 yrs married for 3 and have a 2 yr old son.. It gets better hun hang in there *HUGS* |
