Yes, wolves are creatures who have both been given a bad rep and have been hunted and persecuted for (often) no good reason. Despite what you may think, wolves are no threat to humans.

I have a mixed wolf shepard that is fifteen years old and her mother was a full blood wolf and lived for fifteen years and If I could find another wolf I would love to rais it too. They are pack anamals and so have the instinct to protect the pack. When you raise them you become the alfa in the pack. they are loving and caring more than the regular dog. |

I think it's much more likely that the big bad wolf stories are based on the history of people living near wolves than the other way around. You might want to investigate some first person narratives from 100 or more years ago.
I don't think the protection and appreciation of wolves should depend on believing they are not dangerous - that's just silly |

Wolves have a bad wrap. They are not the big bad wolf that stories claim. Wolves are beautiful and intelligent creatures and as a pack, wolves are absolutely amazing. |

I've never had a thought for more than 2 seconds about wolves until now. i find people that are really into wolves are kind of creepy, to be honest. |

I think they are beautiful creatures as well. I am not in favor of domesticating them though or crossing them with other breeds of domesticated animals. They are meant to be wild, not tamed and can prove to be unstable when kept as pets. |
