You can get creative and ask your parents if your family can have a garage sale and sell some of your old items that you don't use anymore (ask your parents if it is ok and if you can have the profits from the stuff you sell).
If you have an entrepreneual streak, you can save some allowance to purchase nice items when they go on clearance in the stores. Then take those items and sell them to friends, neighbors, family members, etc. (Ask your parents if this is ok first).
If you're up to it, you're responsible enough and you have your parent's approval, you can always babysit kids, walk people's dogs, mow lawns, pull weeds for your neighbors, etc. Most people are willing to give you work to do if you ask for it, even though you aren't able to hold an "official" job yet.

Babysitting works well. Become a regular babysitter for people. Sounds boring? Try house sitting and pet sitting. If you do a good job, people will hire you back again and again. They'll tell their friends about you, and then you get more business.
Also, depending on your age, you can get a job. Try your local supermarket, clothing store, fast food resturuant, or a movie theatre.
