We just had a student at our high school expelled for things he wrote about the principal outside of class on his myspace, which is a little odd to me, but it may have crossed the line and been slander. Anyway, be careful what you put up on there, schools can access it, and especially if yoy play sports, can kick you off a team if they see you doing something illegal. |

Why does it scare you? They have every right to have a myspace profile as well. They can have a profile so they can keep in contact with their friends as well. If you don't want to talk to them then don't talk to them on myspace. I wouldn't worry your teachers can have lives outside of the classroom. |

Well first off, make all your personal information private. Second, don't leave any picture on there, that you wouldn't want someone like your teacher or family members to see.
If he tries to contact you on there. Ignore the teacher, don't add them to your list, and don't let them add you. If they bother you, tell them that your parents monitor your myspace *don't be afraid to lie*
But most importantly, don't give out personal information that you don't want others to know. Myspace is viewed by lots of people, even those without accounts. So whatever you on there, could get back to those who know you.
And don't get involved with a teach as a "buddy" Not professional on his or her part, and not smart on yours.
