It shows a lack of respect and compassion to those who are mentally challenged. I have a beautiful 9 year old daughter who is mentally challenged and I cannot put into words what I feel when I hear people use that derogatory word. God forbid you should ever have to deal with something like this on a personal level. I assure you, you would never use the word again. |
