If it's the angry kind of stress - yoga or hit the treadmill and run for a while. If it's the kind of stress that just makes me dread exercise, I'll soak in a hot tub while sipping a glass of wine and reading a guilty-pleasure sort of book (no high literature when I'm stressed - I'm talkin' Stephen King or Charlaine Harris, here!). |

listen to soothing, non-aggressive music and focus on your breathing. close your eyes, take several deep breaths. breathing in slowly and exhaling slowly. try to picture a place where you are relaxed and at ease. somewhere that makes you feel good inside. just focus on the breathing while holding the picture in you mind. if that doesn't work, throw a hot bath, candles and some essence oils in the water, add that to the breathing excercises, should melt the stress away. a hot oil massage ALWAYS works! |

I like to either clean the house or bake.. I especially like to bake cookies when my husband makes me mad or stressed...
It may sound weird but I think doing something nice for someone that makes you mad or stressed out helps... |

I like to take a bath. Sometimes, this is not possible, so I will turn off all radios, tv's and other sounds and just sit in silence. It is a real stress soother. |

Try exercising. It will help you burn energy which is a stress reliever, but it will also give you time alone to your thoughts. Alot of stress is caused by not dealing with problems, exercising will give you some time to reflect on your emotions. |

I take a nice hot soothing bath. I usually feel relaxed by the time it's over. And I sometimes think that when I have a really bad problem that there's always someone out there worse off. Sure it doesn't always rid me of my problem but at least it makes it easier to deal with until can be resolved. |

I mostly talk to my best friend,my sister.She doesn't usually have all the answers(who does?)but she's a good listener.And if I overdo it sometimes,she knows how to start shouting at me and realize that it's all not like I imagine it.Second thing I do is read a book. |

Chill out,try doing something that takes your mind off of your stress. You might want to try talking to someone or your doctor...to get some depression pills, if you keep all of the stress cooped up inside of you it will only make matters worse and you might end up picking up habits that are really bad. Just try to talk to someone...trust me it will help. |
