i like the game of Monopoly a lot- what i don't like is it takes too long to play it--my wife and son say i become ruthless and angry when i play the game, especially if no one will deal with me, so i can get a monopoly ! they think i get too carried away with the game, too competitive, and therefore do not want to play the game with me..They could be right--i do like to win at Monopoly !! |

It depends there are lots of ways at looking at the word monopoly and how it is used. Monopoly the board game is a classic and i love it. Internet monopolies scam you of your money. So on and so forth. Ask questions with more specifics. |

i think monopoly is fun and a nice family game...and a lot of people can play at the same time...it has been around for a long time...it helps people to get together for a nite of fun..it's interesting and a bit educational in that it deals with money |

if you mean the game, I love it, if you mean monopoly as in having the corner on a certain business market then i think if you are able to do that, i have no problem with it, this is a free country and that is a part of capitalism |

Monopoly is okay, but it usually takes so long that eventually people will get bored and quit. I've never finished a game of Monopoly, actually. I prefer The Game of Life...it's so cute! |

It's a very nice game, buying properties, selling, renting, paying, earning.
It's really good you should buy it, the thing is that it takes a long time to play it about 3 hours or less or more, depending on how many players are there.
The other bad thing is that if all the properties are sold out, and nobody have their 3-pack properties, nobody will win the game. |

Love to play the game monopoly esp when I can get Boardwalk and Park Place but have won by having the most inexpensive and being able to fill with hotels. In Business Monopolies aren't allowed for it negates free enterprise. |

I think you were referring to "Monopoly" as a type of market with only one seller (not the game). This violates the competitive requirement that there be a large number of sellers and freedom of entry. In my opinion monopoly is very boring, but you may not think the same way I do. Other people I know think it's fun but I guess you would have to play it to actually find out whether or not YOU like it. |
