No they are great! You should get a lot of people coming through because you are in a nicer neighborhood. It is a good way to help pay for you moving expense and get rid of some things you don't want. It's a lot easier then running it to the dump or thrift store. |

First, have there been other yard sales in the area? If not you might want to reconsider - consider Craig's list to get rid of stuff or even E-bay (you can specify local pick-up only)
If there have been other yard sales, then go ahead - PLUS your are moving anyway, so the repercussions will be short lived - just keep it neat |

No, go for it, who cares what they think. Make yourself some money girlfriend! Anyway, you're leaving, so it doesn't matter if they like it or not... hehe |

LOVE yard sales - no they are not trashy as long as the signs you put up advertising the sale are neat and clean. (And remember to take down ALL the signs after the sale is over).
Depending on where you live, an alternative to a yard sale is to sell things on Craig's List - http://www.craigslist.org/ and click on your city on the right side of the screen. |

Love them !! Get cool clothes & junk. Bought a quilt one time for a dollar, and sold it for $4000.00 at Cristies in N.Y. |

Oh god yes! How white trash do you have to be to put all your crap on the front lawn and ask people to buy it from you. Just go to the dump, It's not like you'll make any money from it anyway. But why move at all? Stay in the nice neighborhood and make friends with all the old rich people with no kids ;) |
