Inorder to truely find a major that is the "most useful" or "best" you have to decide what you really like doing. Do you want to work with people or work best alone and with machines? That is the first place to start. If you enjoy people or building things then I would go with business or organizational psychology. Both will help you to relate to people and build a strong cohesive business. Other than that you have to decide what is best for your personality, not what is most popular. |

I think college is a waste of time and money. Get a job when you turn 18 instead and retire at 50. OR go to college... rack of 10s of thousands of $$ of debt. spend the next 10 years paying that off. start off on the corporate ladder 4 years behind where you could have been. and retire when youre 65.
Go get a job now. And then take advantage of your companies tuition reimbursement program and have THEM pay for college. And then work on a degree to help you in the job you already have. |

Naturally it depends on what your good at. But I would strongly recommend checking what job availability is predicted for any major your interested in. Nothing like spending a ton of money for a worthless degree. |

Well, most of them are useful...one I think is good (which is why I picked it) is Journalism. It lets me write, which I enjoy doing, and travel some and talk to people instead of just sitting at a desk all day and all. But you can't just ask what's a good one, you've gotta play to your strengths and what you enjoy. |
