I couldn't find what I wanted for you, a photo of a pear tree with fruit on it, so I compromised. The first link is a photo of a large pear tree, and the nursery site has several different pear shapes with close ups of the fruit and leaves.

Your answer depends on the type of pear tear. My family has a Bartlett pear tree in the backyard. It is not a grand tree--It has a thin trunk, smooth greyish-brown bark, long, thin branches & light green leaves. It is a pretty tree, but we never get any full grown pears, because the squirrels get to the fruit before it matures. (My dad always said he was going to cut it down, since we could never get any fruit from it, but he never did. He only said that to tease my mom. It is a happy fixture at my family's home.)
