I am confused..If i bought them for $.41 and the rate increases, are the old stamps automatically null and void? or can they still be used to mail a letter..and I just have to pay $.42 for any future ...

What ever happened with the Susan B Anthony dollar?
I know we were trying to get a coin into cirrulation for the dollar. I guess it didn't go over because I've don't ever see the Susian B Anthony dollar in circulation.
they quit making it, but it is still considered legal tender. too many folks were confusing it for quarters, and there were issues with vending machines

It wasn't as accepted as it was projected to be. I believe it was taken out of circulation in 2001.

They stopped making it because of lack of demand. The theory was that it looked too much like a quarter. Now they make the Sacagewea golden dollar. It's the same size and weight as the Susan, but it's golden in color. It still isn't generally used by the public.

They still have them. You can get them at the bank. My brother got is whole paycheck in Susan B Anthony dollars one time to piss off his wife cuz she kept spending everything.

Last I checked, post offices still use it to dispense change for postage stamps. That's where I got all mine.
