Probably a healthier overall lifestyle. Certainly a healthier diet would make a nice start. I eat too much junk food (pizza being my guilty passion) and entirely too many "ding" meals (microwavable meals) as someone I adore refers to them.
I'm in the process of stepping up my exercise regimen again (I used to lift weights and train like a freaking decathlete)... or at least I was until the flu-virus-from-hell struck me down and has left me struggling with its companion, the demon-cough-from-hell, for the better part of the past month. *cough*
Anyway, that's being addressed but the other good habit I really need to embrace is a normal (okay, vaguely resembling normal?) sleep schedule. Honestly, my sleep patterns are a mess and have been for some time now. Just establishing a set time to go to bed (my alarm dictates the set waking time, irrespective of how much actual sleep I managed to get) and actually fall asleep would work wonders, I feel sure. Insomnia, for the uninitiated, is a real curse, believe me. But I'm thinking this is the price I pay for being nocturnal by nature. |
