If I were her, I wouldn't be telling people, ESPECIALLY YOU since you have literally announced to the world that your friend has a rash on her butt. She should be seeing a doctor about it ;) It could be allergies. Rashes could be an indication of a lot of things.

Does she know that you are suspicous about it? If so, then tell her that she can ask her mom about it, or, if the mom figure is missing, an aunt. If she doesn't realize that you are suspicous, then maybe introduce it in a neuteral way, like telling her that she looks like she is a little uncomfortable, or something like that.
