I'm a 25 year old daughter, and i really appreciated the money from my parents (i pay rent and have a car, so money is really helpful!).
Something more personal could be an iPod or an iPod accessory.
How about their favorite chocolates bought individually and made into an arrangement by yourself.
A collage of old pictures.
Something electronic, like a digital camera, memory card.
Not everyone likes them, but i LOVE gift certificates from clothes places, drug stores (for beauty products, lotions, scented stuff, etc.)
Jewelry is great too, birthstones are nice. |

I just celebrated my 26th birthday. I suggest gift certificates for either clothes, hair, tanning or whatever her intrest may be. One year, I even got a gas gift card-boring, but I was able to spend my money elsewhere. |

Books!!! Find out what genre she likes to read most and then write a nice inscription on the inside. She will keep it forever and maybe (depending upon the book) it can be passed down through the generations.
