Usually means Monday to Friday (i.e. business days) so if you ordered something on Monday and they said they would send it in seven working days it would really be nine days as a weekend would be in that seven days. |

Most of these answers are wrong. Its not just excluding weekends! In most cases working days excludes Saturdays, Sundays and any holidays - eg Bank Holidays in the UK, including Christmas, Easter etc. There is a 'Business Day' calendar in financial markets which differs for different countries.
So 7 seven working days could mean 9 or, in the UK, up to 11 calendar days from the start depending on exactly the period under consideration (The UK never has more than 2 bank holiday days in a row.)
I'm not aware of any legally binding definition but it will affect contracts that have forward dates and both sides to a contract have to at least implicitly agree on what it means. |

A working day is Monday-Friday (5 days) so if it's 7 working days- Tuesday would be the 7th working day. Weekends are excluded |

A normal working week is Monday to Friday so that means a Monday to Friday (5 working days) plus 2 the following week excluding Saturday and Sunday. Or if it was mid week you count 7 working days not including the Saturday and Sunday. or if you count them in it is 9 days altogether. I hope you understand what I am trying to say. |

Working days are considered to be Monday - Friday. If your transaction is on a Monday, the 7th working day would be the following Tuesday. |

7 working days means not including sunday, seven days from the day it states, unless it's a company who does not class Saturday as a working day then it means seven days time not including sat, if that makes sense! |

Typically, 7 working days are only counted as Monday through Friday. So if an item is being shipped to you in 7 working days, and it is Thursday, you probably wont get it until the following Friday. |
