In my Business management class the question of the day is what is really american made? Think all the way down to the raw material of a product that you might think is american made. For example, if you say syrup, you have to think about the machines that make that product. Are they imported, and if they are does that make it american made? |

As for products, 50-60 + years ago one could say a lot, but now who would know. Most companies are global based any more, and I suppose it would take a quit a bit of research to find an American made product.
Crafters, quilters and people who make items for business by hand would be the only thing I know of that qualifies. |

Everything that is made in Mexico, Canada, Colombia, El Salvador, Nicaragua, etc. is made in "America"
America covers from the North Pole to the South Pole.
If you were asking what's manufactured in the USA, well, there is a lot of things. Even foreign cars are manufactured in the good old US of A. If you are asking if everything that it's manufactured here have foreign materials , parts, machinery, etc. the answer would be yes, many products are assembled with foreign resources. |

Nothing is purely American-made anymore. That's what makes me angry about those people who're like "I"m a real American - I have an American-made car!" Uh...no, you don't. You may have a PARTIALLY American-ASSEMBLED car, but none of the part were manufactured here. |

what about farmers that grow the crop. but then again, from what you said the farmers helpers can be from for example Mexico. So i guess that is not American made then. But it still is American made. i was grown here in America.
So I would say it was American made because it was made here not in some other country.
So to answer your question i would say yes. |
