Hands down, get credit, but pay off your bill every month!!!!! Credit cards are absolutely the biggest trap in the world. PAY THEM OFF! PAY THEM OFF! PAY THEM OFF! PAY THEM OFF! Also, if you have the funds real estate is the way to go. That is a debt that will eventually be worth something.
Good Luck:) |

Plan and decide your financial future for yourself, You can start with some insurance, higher return investments when you can afford (do your homework though). At any stage, never trust your financials to anyone other than yourself, especially your so called "insurance agents" or "financial advisors". |

Save up your money before you buy. Do not use bank for borrowing money. Get a job & keep it,unless a betterpaying job with good Health Ins. come along.
Alway pay cash for everything. Use bank for the highest interest rate. Stay On Top . Better to go without for a min. then to pay double , because you want it now. |

stay away from credit cards, but if they do use them make sure the spending limit is way low like 300.00 or 500.00. and encourage them to pay off that amount each month. and also encourage them to get used to putting a percentage of their check directly into savings. if they begin doing this at a young age they will hopefully continue doing it and consider it a must and part of the monthly expenses instead of something to do if they have the extra money. also teach them to save for big ticket items that are not essential to daily living instead of going into debt for them. encourage them to sit down every month to look at their monthly budget to see if they are wasting money in certain areas. |
