Well i would work out roughly what you earn in a week or fortnight or month... So say you earn like my brother does after school his 16.. He eans like roughly $50 a week so in a year there are 52 weeks. If my brother saves $25 of it which is half of $50 then he would have 25x52= 1300 so $1300 So as you only want $500 then you could save $10 a week x 52 weeks in a year = $520. So that roughly what your after. Id open an award saver account and each time you put $10 in each week you bank will give you a bit of money for not taking anyout. Do odd Jobs around the neighbor hood you live in. Or you could babysit. I would say get a paper route but I think that you have to be 18 to do that now. |

A good way to make money when your quite young is washing teacher cars at school once or twice a week. Charge around 5-8 dollars. It will definately get you the money, its cost effective and teachers always support their students no matter what the cause. Good luck |

Somehow I don't think that's what you were looking for, so here's mine. I see these questions from young folks all the time here but today I'm going to give you the key to to the vault.
Go out and mow ONE lawn and take the money you earn to buy a single Private Label Rights product. Since you posted here, I assume you know a little about using a computer and have an Internet connection, so use it to promote the product you come up with and sell it for $5, no more. All you need to do is get 100 orders by the end of the year and that is not hard to do if it is catchy enough. If the first one doesn't work, do another from the same PLR beginning.
Whatever you do, don't try to sell it as it comes, you must change it to make it unique or there will be too much competition.
Get a free website and post your sales page, put a link to PayPal (get your dad to set one up) and go post in a few Forums that allow sig lines that advertise, I specialize in Internet Marketing products, but you can focus on anything people want information about.
It wouldn't hurt if you let people know you are only 13 and they may want to support someone who is industrious enough to do something to help themselves instead of standing around whining about how tough life is. In fact, send me a link and I will be the first to buy your product.
In case you're wondering if this works, I do it all the time and just this weekend I made $140 the same way. |

Why does a 13 year old need this much money? At 13, odd jobs are the best bets. Chores, helping neighbors. Maybe delivering newspapers. Selling your stuff.
How good are you at card games? That's such an evil suggestion, but gambling is a way.
Recycling! That's a better thing to do. Start collecting. You could reach your goal.

Dear Flossiam,
The best way to earn $500 by the end of the year is to mow yards, pull weeds and trim hedges. Don't forget to rake up, too! It's hard work but it builds character and you're less likely to blow it when you see how hard it is to earn.
