I think that a shock and awe approwach would work very well. It doesnt quite have to be cussing them out so theyll never forget you, but make yourself seem diffeerent than anyone else he'll ever meet. Wear a wierd tie, or talk extremely loud(but sound professional in your choice of words). or yuou could be a little unorthodox, like twithing every now and then. Hey, you might wanna start by getting their business cards and after a day or two depending on what business your in call them just to say hello or even send your busness card as a way of saying it was nice to have met them |

or observe other ppl wen they meet you - how do you remember them - then do the same thing. |

Best thing that I could think of is that if the people you want to network with works in the same business as you do that you could take them out to dinner or other areas.. It would give you time to talk about work and forces them to say your name. Be yourself. If you are trying to put on a straight face all the time, you may be unknowingly aggitting others in thinking you may be a snob. Treat everbody the same and follow their directions to help with your change that personality. |
