Additional Details I am planning on moving to New York without a job. I hear that a lot of times employers do not look at your resume if they see that you do not live in the area.
I have been actually able to get doo jobs through websites such as workopolis.com and monster.ca
check them out when you get the chance... you can search ur field and most of the time they have all the information posted on the site

Try careerbuilder.com. They let you search for jobs in a specific area or just all over. hotjobs on Yahoo does the same thing. If you know what field you are interested in, another good way is to call companies you want to work for, tell them you are looking at moving to the area, and just ask if they are looking for anyone.
